Born and raised in Lebanon, Roger arrived in the United States as a college student in 1983 where he attended Bob Jones University. Soccer injuries changed his career path, and he wanted to help others achieve full recovery through Physical Therapy. He then went on to receive his Physical Therapy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 1992.
Roger started working in the private sector in the Greenville area, but was soon disillusioned but the lack of compassion and care large practices provided to patients. He wanted to provide quality physical therapy that focused on the individual and not a protocol.
With little more than a vision and a relentless work ethic, he opened the doors to Accelerated Physical Therapy in May 2000—a business built from the ground up. His unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care, building trust with the physicians and his patients, fostering a positive and supportive environment helped Accelerated Physical Therapy grow into the practice it is today.
Roger didn’t just want to be a physical therapist; he wanted to affect lives positively—helping patients recover, regain independence, and live pain-free. His practice quickly became known for its superior level of care, compassionate, personalized approach to healing, and has earned a reputation for excellence in the community.
From my soccer days, I understood how badly an athlete wants to recover from injury and return to the playing field. I also wanted my patients to be treated like I would like to be treated if I went to a medical office—with respect, in a timely manner, and no cost surprises. We strive to deliver on all those fronts.
