Back in Motion Physical Therapy Announces New Clinic in Waterville, Maine

The new location brings quality care and convenience to the Waterville community. This new facility is in Elm Plaza and includes a large rehabilitation space with upgraded therapeutic equipment for patients. Alliance Physical Therapy Partners Announces New CEO

Grand Rapids, MI – July 14, 2020 – Alliance Physical Therapy Partners (Alliance) today announced that Richard Leaver will transition to become the company’s Chief Executive Officer, effective July 20th.   Leaver was previously COO of Alliance.

Leaver brings to the position over 25 years of healthcare experience.  He is a seasoned professional having demonstrated expertise in all facets of outpatient therapy services management with a strong track-record of creating long-term value and ability to successfully grow in various challenging and complex market environments.

Leaver is a licensed physical therapist with an MBA from University of Michigan and Board Certification in healthcare management, having earning the distinguished Fellow of American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) Credential. Prior to joining Alliance, Leaver worked at ATI Physical Therapy as Vice President of Operations for Washington State.

Earlier in his career, Leaver held clinical management positions with a number of providers, including Flexeon Rehabilitation, located in Oakbrook, Illinois; Sparrow Hospital, located in Lansing, Michigan; and Physiotherapy Associates, located in Grand Ledge, Michigan. He also spent eight years with Land Rover Group in the U.K. where he established and managed multi-site clinical care of work-related musculoskeletal injuries; health, safety and ergonomics programs; and consultation on new vehicle programs as Manager of Industrial Physiotherapy Services/Senior Manufacturing Ergonomist.

Advent Physical Therapy Announces New Clinic in Hudsonville, Michigan

The new location is part of several health provider groups and services, bringing quality care and convenience to the West Michigan community. This new facility is in Jamestown Square, and includes a large rehabilitation space with upgraded therapeutic equipment for patients. The clinic offers complimentary pain screenings with immediate availability and same day or next day appointments for patients.

Kenneth Arends PT, MSPT, Cert. MDT has been named Director of Clinical Operations and brings many years of experience in orthopedic and outpatient care. Kenneth received his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University. He brings over 20 years of experience as a physical therapist with special interest in sports injury rehabilitation, post surgical care, balance and fall prevention, vertigo treatment, and TMJ Dysfunction and pain relief.

With the addition of the Hudsonville location, Advent now operates 15 convenient outpatient clinics near you in the Greater Grand Rapids area.
